Bañarte 24
This year, JuanMa Martín has been one of the guests at the 2024 edition of Bañarte. His sculptural installation in a corner of Baños de Río Tobía tells us about the stages of life, specifically Maturity. This explorer is back to pass the baton to his successors.
Pueblo Hechizado
This exhibition at Finca Arandinos houses a series of busts of a bewitched town. Modeled and decorated in ceramic, JuanMa Martín invites us to reflect on our society.
Sports Awards
Every year, Riojan sportsmen and women with the greatest national and international projection are awarded. For this occasion, the awards are original graphic work by Naiara Arrieta, who has designed each award and mention tailored to its recipient.
Transhumance Photocall
Every year the Fiesta de la Trashumancia is celebrated in Venta de Piqueras. A wooden photocall already adorns the ethnographic museum and accompanies visitors to learn about the life of the shepherds in the area. This work has been carried out jointly by JuanMa and Naiara.
The Logroñer
The iconic cover of The New Yorker is spreading across Spanish capitals. A group of illustrators have been invited to show what the covers of our dream The Logroñer would look like, including one by our colleague Naiara, who shows us an ordinary morning in the Plaza de Abastos.
Rafael Azcona Exhibition
The Rafael Azcona Municipal Library gives Riojan illustrators the opportunity to carry out the graphic campaign each year. This activity involves the individual exhibition or display of their career in professional work as an illustrator.
Serendipias
Serendipias is a solo show in the EspacioComün exhibition attic. Various sculptures modeled in ceramic and machined by JuanMa provoke this disturbing atmosphere of fortuitous discoveries such as the sound of ceramic pieces clicking against each other or the symbolic presence of some of the busts and beings on display.
The Illustrated Library
The Rafael Azcona Municipal Library gives Riojan illustrators the opportunity to create the graphic campaign for each year. During 2023, this illustration will adorn the library's architecture and also its reading points, pamphlets and other printed elements.
EC24
The collective exhibition EC24 shows at the Caja Rioja Foundation in Logroño the work of several members of EspacioComün, a rural coworking space installed in Nalda where both Naiara and JuanMa work on three-dimensional projects that both are showing in this room.
Nana de La Rioja
The Government of La Rioja has entrusted this illustrated album project to Naiara. It is delivered at each new maternity by the San Pedro Hospital in Logroño and tells a story of a lullaby with landscapes and moments that remind us of our identity.
Bañarte 2023
This year, Naiara Arrieta has been one of the guests invited to participate in the rural art meeting in Baños de Río Tobía. Coinciding with the celebration of the Chorizo festival, the proposal is to create a mural with the traditional preparation of this local product. This infographic of elements painted on wood will be placed on the main street on an abandoned wall.
EspacioComün Exhibition
The exhibition attic of EspacioComün, a rural coworking space in Nalda, is hosting a series of original illustrations by Naiara for a month, accompanied by sketches to understand the complete process leading to an illustration applicable to any product.
